Introspective #4 – Photography Without Social Media

Welcome to Introspective #4, featuring a YouTube Video by First Man Photography “Adam Karnacz” presenting a case for; Photography without Social Media. Hopefully, you also find this video a worth while listen.

Is Social Media really just;
  ■ an addiction
  ■ exploiting photographers through their terms of service
  ■ an algorithm that does not favour your still images being seen
  ■ taking a lot of energy for little in return
  ■ negatively effecting our well being

What if you were to step away from Social Media, how could that action possibly have a positive impact on your life, and result in giving some thought about how and where Photographers should share their art; a web site you control, and getting back to producing your work in the physical world in the form of print could be part of the answer.

I have been following “Adam” for many years now and find his content positive and thought provoking, and I hope you will as well. Here is a link to Adam’s (First Man Photography) YouTube Channel.

Introspective #3

Welcome to Introspective #3 which features an Artists’ YouTube Video that I find interesting which makes me step back and think more deeply about photography. Hopefully, you also find this video a worth while listen.

This YouTube Video featured (below) by: Dee Rosa Photography is a down to earth discussion asking; why do you really do photography? and why amateur artists get criticized if their photography is considered by others as “doing it wrong”. Maybe, it would be best to give more thought about opinions and allow anyone to be creative by expressing their form of art through support and celebration rather than criticism.

This is my first video I’ve watched from this artist just because of the title of this video, I do intend to check out more of his content. Here is a link to Dee’s (Dee Rosa Photography) YouTube Channel.
